CALGARY, Alta. – Hockey Canada announced on Tuesday that the National Women’s Team centralized roster has
been reduced to 23 players.
Defenceman Delaney Collins (Pilot Mound, Man.) has been released from the centralized roster.
“Hockey Canada thanks Delaney for all of her hard work throughout this season and in the past,” says
Melody Davidson, head coach of the National Women’s Team. “Delaney has proudly represented her country at
five IIHF World Women’s Championships.”
Canada’s final roster for the 2010 Olympic
Winter Games in Vancouver, B.C., will comprise 21 players, including three goaltenders.
