2010 IIHF WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

Q: When is the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship?
A: The 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship begins on December 26, 2009 and culminates with the gold medal game in Saskatoon on January 5, 2010.

Q: Where will the games be played?
A: The 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship takes place at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon (21 games, including all Canada games and medal round games) and at the Brandt Centre in Regina (10 round-robin games and two Canada pre-tournament games).

Q: Who will run the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship in Saskatoon and Regina?
A: The 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship host organizing committee (HOC) recently named Rob Jones and Al Ford the general manager and assistant general manager, respectively. Rob Jones will be located in the Saskatoon office while Al Ford will work out of the Regina office.

Q: Where will the official Event Office be located?
A: The 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship HOC has one office located in each host community.

The Saskatoon IIHF World Junior Championship office is located at:

The Regina IIHF World Junior Championship office is located at:

Q: How do I purchase tickets?
A: Ticket packages can be purchased through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.ca, by contacting Ticketmaster at 1-800-970-SEAT or by visiting any Ticketmaster outlet.

Ticket package prices are:
Saskatoon 21-game package – $1203 (includes $25 Ticketmaster convenience charge and handling fee)
Regina 12-game package – $459 (includes $16 Ticketmaster convenience charge and handling fee)

A: The 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship HOC is currently finalizing the special events calendar for the 2010 World Junior Championship. Please check back at www.hockeycanada.ca for the most up-to-date information. Announcements will take place throughout 2009.

Q: Where will the 2010 National Junior Team development camp take place?
A: Hockey Canada is currently working through logistics as it relates to the National Junior Team development camp. Additional information can be found at www.hockeycanada.ca throughout 2009.

Q: When will the 2010 National Junior Team be announced?
A: The 2010 National Junior Team will not be announced until the conclusion of the selection camp in December 2009.
